Terms & Conditions

Please read The Digital Photo Workshops terms and conditions and contact us if you have question.

The following terms and conditions apply to most workshops listed here in. Certain workshops may have additional/different terms and conditions which will be listed with that workshop. If information differs, the information on the individual workshop page will be considered the accepted version.

Photo Shoot Rule – The safety of the workshop attendee and staff along with the environments we will be exposed to is our first and foremost concern. In the event the instructors or staff of the facility where we are holding the workshop at observe anyone acting in a fashion that is detrimental to the safety of attendees and staff, or is overly disruptive to the group, they will be removed from the workshop. No refunds will be provided to that individual. Any directions provided to the tour/workshop participants by instructors or staff to preserve their safety, the safety of others, or the well being of the subjects photographed, are to be immediately followed.

Terms – The refundable deposit that includes a $100 non-refundable administration fee in the amount specified with each workshop is due at the time you book a workshop. Your space is not reserved until we receive your deposit. The full balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. If we do not receive your balance by this time, we reserve the right to cancel your workshop and/or fill your spot from a wait list. In the event of such a cancellation, no refunds will be provided.

Payment and Ordering – Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Check, or Money Order. You may use the ordering buttons on each workshop registration page to place your deposit. If you would prefer to place your reservation by phone, please call Randy at 727-542-3024 (Eastern time) to process your reservation and payment.

Coupons and Discounts – Only one coupon or discount may be used per person per workshop. Referral discounts are the only discounts which can be combined with other coupons or discounts. VIP discounts may only be used by people who have taken a workshop with us previously.

Cancellations, Delays & Refunds – No refunds will be given for delays or cancellations due to inclement weather, flights, or other events beyond our control, either before, during, or after your workshop. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur due to delays or cancellations. Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled workshop date will receive a refund less the nonrefundable deposit of $100 or a credit (the workshop amount less the non-refundable deposit) toward a future workshop or tour with TDPWs. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled workshop date will receive a credit (the workshop amount less the non-refundable deposit) toward a future workshop. Credits must be used within 1 year of the cancellation date and can be applied towards any open workshop offered. Any price differences during that time period will apply and you will be required to pay the difference.

Workshop Minimums – On occasion, it may be necessary to set a minimum number of participants to run a workshop. If a minimum is set for a workshop, it will be listed on the individual workshop page. If the set minimum is not reached, participants have the option of transferring the full amount paid toward another workshop or receiving a full refund. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred if the workshop is cancelled due to the minimum not being reached.

Physical Activity and Exposure to the Elements – Our workshops are designed to appeal to a broad range of skill levels and abilities. However, some workshop activities are held outdoors in the elements. There are certain risks associated with strenuous outdoor activity. You and your personal physician must be the judge of your physical abilities and limitations. We accept no liability for any injuries or illnesses that occur during one of our workshops. Our instructors will make reasonable accommodations to pace the workshop according to your abilities. At any point during a workshop you feel you can not continue, please let us know. The instructors and staff reserve the right to pause or stop a workshop if they feel the participants are overexerting or endangering themselves or others. While every workshop is different, we make every reasonable accommodation to allow persons with disabilities to join us on workshops. What’s Included – Each workshop specifies exactly what is included with that workshop. No assumptions should be made about other amenities being included that are not specifically stated.

Photo Release:
I give The Digital Photo Workshops (TDPW) the non-exclusive rights to use photos taken during the TDPW programs solely for purposes of education and advertising. These photos may be published annoy media including but not limited to electronic media and the internet. These photos may be used in this and other TDPW programs for education purposes. You are not giving The Digital Photo Workshops any rights to sell your photos, or to use your photos for any other purpose beyond the promotion of The Digital Photo Workshops. You retain exclusive copyright of your photos and all rights to sell your photos.

Model Release:
I give The Digital Photo Workshops permission to include me in the photographs that will be taken during the workshop, and to use my likeness for the sole purpose of promoting The Digital Photo Workshops.
