Photography Gear I Use

The Equipment Behind the Images

The cameras, lenses, accessories, and workflow I rely on every day.

After more than 30 years as a professional photographer, I’ve learned that the right equipment can make a real difference—not because you need the latest gear, but because dependable tools allow you to concentrate on creating the image.

Below is the photography gear I personally use for travel, architectural photography, workshops, and my professional assignments, along with the computer equipment and software I use for post-processing. I’ve included links to many of these products for photographers who are interested in adding them to their own camera bag or workflow.

My Travel Photography Gear

When I travel for photography workshops and personal projects, I try to balance image quality with the amount of equipment I have to carry. This is the camera gear, lenses, tripod equipment, filters, and bags I rely on when photographing destinations around the world.

My Architectural Photography Gear

Architectural photography requires a different set of tools than my travel photography. For professional assignments, I rely on specialized lenses, sturdy support equipment, tethering tools, lighting accessories, and other equipment that gives me greater control over composition, perspective, and the final image.

My Software & Computer Equipment

Capturing the photograph is only the beginning of my workflow. I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for most of my image processing, along with a professional computer, monitor, storage, and editing equipment that allow me to efficiently manage and finish large photographic files.
