I'm A 2024 IPC Finalist!!!

I was excited to learn yesterday that one of my images has advanced to the Top 32 in the Commercial category of the Professional Photographers of America's (PPA) International Photographic Competition (IPC).

The competition features 16 different categories, with the winner of each category receiving a $1,000 cash prize in a head-to-head competition held during Imaging USA in Louisville. From those category winners, one overall IPC champion will be selected and awarded a $10,000 grand prize.

Over the past several years, the IPC has evolved into one of the highest levels of photographic competition in the world, attracting many of the industry's most accomplished photographers. Images are evaluated by specially trained judges using four criteria: Composition, Impact, Style, and Technical Excellence. Each criterion is worth up to 25 points, for a maximum possible score of 100. The 32 highest-scoring images in each category advance to the live judging rounds at Imaging USA.

I am incredibly honored to have one of my images selected among the Top 32 in the Commercial category and look forward to seeing how it performs during the live competition. Per IPC rules, the images cannot be publicly displayed until the final competition takes place in January, but I look forward to sharing it with everyone once the event concludes.
