November 14 - 19, 2027
-

-
Explore ancient landmarks, grand churches, fountains, and historic Roman streets
-
Enjoy personal photography instruction with only six photographers in attendance
Few cities offer photographers the visual richness and extraordinary history found in Rome. From ancient ruins and Renaissance masterpieces to grand churches, fountains, and lively streets, Rome offers an exceptional combination of architecture, culture, history, and photographic opportunities around every corner.
Our days will be planned around the best light, with early morning shoots at iconic locations including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and St. Peter’s Basilica. In the evenings, we’ll photograph Rome as the warm light of sunset gives way to blue hour, capturing locations such as the Roman Forum, Angel Bridge, St. Peter’s, and panoramic views across the Eternal City.
With the workshop limited to just six photographers, Randy will provide plenty of individual attention and hands-on instruction throughout the week. Between photography sessions, we’ll explore historic neighborhoods, architectural interiors, hidden details, and the character of everyday Rome, with time built into the schedule to rest and enjoy the city.
This workshop is about more than visiting famous landmarks—it’s about learning to see and photograph Rome creatively. You’ll return home with memorable images, new techniques, and a deeper understanding of travel and architectural photography from one of the most visually inspiring cities in the world.
