Randy Van Duinen

Randy Van Duinen is an award-winning architectural and fine art photographer, educator, and workshop instructor with more than 30 years of professional photography experience. Throughout his career, he has photographed architecture and interiors for architects, interior designers, builders, corporations, and leading design firms, developing a distinctive approach that combines technical precision with a strong artistic vision.

Randy's photography has earned recognition throughout the professional photographic community. His honors include a Silver Medal at the World Photographic Cup, Diamond Photographer of the Year from Professional Photographers of America, and numerous Photographer and Artist of the Year awards. He holds both the Master Photographer and Master Artist degrees from Professional Photographers of America and has earned the prestigious American Society of Photographers Fellowship. His fine art photography has been exhibited and collected, including work in the permanent collection of the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

As an educator, Randy brings decades of real-world experience into his teaching. He has taught photographers across the country, sharing the techniques, creative thinking, and professional experience developed throughout his career. His instruction goes beyond camera settings and equipment to explore composition, lighting, post-processing, creative vision, and understanding why a photograph works.

Today, Randy leads small-group photography workshops throughout the United States and Europe. His teaching style is hands-on, approachable, and centered on helping each photographer grow. Whether photographing architecture, historic interiors, landscapes, or cities, Randy works alongside his students, helping them see differently, solve problems in the field, and create stronger, more thoughtful photographs.
